Madu River Boat Ride

Madu River is a wetland, along the Colombo Galle highway. This is the point where the Estuary of the Madu river. The river flows through a terrain where it creates a large number of islands, and the eco system creates a beautiful wetland. The hotels around provide boat rids through the canals created at a good cost. And there are loads of places to stay, dine and wine.

Whale Watching

As if Sri Lanka didn’t ooze magic from every pore already, blue whales are jumping out of the ocean to upstage the other natural wonders for a few weeks between February and mid-March. This is krill feeding time when blue whales are king. Be prepared for magic.

Water Rafting

National Park Experience

Yala National Park is the most famous and well-known national park on the island. It is also leopard country; the animals roam freely in the bush along with elephants, peacocks and hundreds of birds and animals. There are five sectors and two are open to the public. It was named a national park in 1938 and a wildlife sanctuary in 1900. It is located southeast of Colombo and extends from the coast to the jungle.

Zipline Experience

The two-wire zip-line stretches for more than half a kilometer, slides at 80kmph and offers a bird’s-eye view of the beautiful hills of the island. The adventure park is exclusively designed for adventure enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies who prefer a not so ordinary hillside experience, offering ATV/quad bike rides, Abseiling, Archery and Air rifling for a gripping outdoor experience.
